The Ruby Collection
The world and concepts of The Ruby Collection came from a dream I had when I was 17. In the dream, I was told a story of a magical ruby called the Encania Ruby. Let me tell you its story.
The god, Mantayah, took pity on Felicia, a young mother, and her baby daughter who were some of the last living people on their dying planet. Mantayah knew Felicia was pure of heart, so he entrusted the magic of the Encania Ruby to her. He explained how the ruby would do whatever her heart most desired, in exchange for her life. What she desired wasn’t what Mantayah expected. She wished wholeheartedly for a new world where her daughter could live in peace without the threat of destruction. And so, it came to be.
The Encania Ruby used Felicia’s life to create a new planet in a safe place for her daughter to live. The world was full of people and animals to help take care of the baby. Mantayah became the god of a new and thriving planet instead of dying with the old one. The Encania Ruby was enshrined where the new people of this world found the young girl.
Everything seemed perfect for several or more millennia, so this story was long forgotten or convoluted into myths.
The Ruby Collection novels start at the beginning of the end of the world Felicia created.

I hope you love this world from my imagination. Every character, costume, city, animal, and complex building was carefully thought out and planned before I wrote about them. I wanted to give you the best and clearest picture of this world, Machiti, that I could. I love the little details in a book, and so I created as many as possible.

Outcasts are all around us. Take Marki, for example; he has traveled the world alone for so long he can’t bear to be attached to anything except his ruby necklace. Jania, on the other hand, was once a respected oracle in a sacred and forbidden forest who ventured out and could not return. Matoo, a rebel leader, has and continues to lead an army while his name is cursed in the homes of many. Each of them was born in a different land immersed in a unique culture, and they couldn’t be more different.
However, they all have one thing in common. They are each bound to a fragment of the Encania Ruby, the creator of their world. They never understood their lonely part in the maintenance of their world until the day Marki’s piece of ruby was stolen and shattered. This anomaly threw their world into an unbalanced state. Now, they must collect the ethos from his ruby, or natural disasters will drive their peoples into extinction.
This epic adventure leads each character through unforeseen adventures, lost memories, magical ethos, trials of their strength, and tests the power which lays dormant within them.
Once these unlikely companions meet, will they be able to work together, or will their personal priorities and circumstances get in the way of fighting for the greater good?
